What real sovereignty means

What does sovereignty without compromise?

  • Bar chart of benchmark scores: Anthropic Fable 5.1 (1764), Platte GLM 5.3 (1676, highlighted in blue) and OpenAI Chat GPT-6 (1580).

Performance and user experience on par with the US market leaders.

Open models now match their US counterparts. That makes true sovereignty possible without compromising on performance.

  • Two overlapping dialogs from the Platte interface: "Integrations" listing connected tools (Asana, Hubspot, Datev, Office 365, Atlassian) and "Invite team members" listing three invited members.

Self set-up without a strain on internal IT resources.

Register your organisation, connect your tools, invite your team, start using AI — even an organisation-wide rollout of sovereign AI works with Platte as a self service.

  • The Platte interface: a chat input with the model selector open — "Automatic" (best value), then DeepSeek V4, GLM 5.3, Qwen and Mistral, each tagged with an EU flag.

Automatically the best models thanks to weekly updates.

We keep track: with Platte you automatically get access to the newest and most capable open AI models the market has to offer.

  • A circle of EU stars with a location pin, overlapping a circle holding a padlock and shield, on a plain background.

GDPR- and compliance-compliant through 100% EU infrastructure.

All services run on European infrastructure managed by European providers. Entirely without US dependencies. Privacy-compliant by design.

All the benefits of sovereign AI without internal IT effort

Platte offers every benefit of modern SaaS software, without giving up real sovereignty along the way.

  • Process customer data and trade secrets securely

  • Put your existing integrations to work in your tools and workflows

  • Choose flexibly between European cloud or on-premise

  • High adoption rates through top models and user experience

  • Contacts and phone support in Germany

  • Governance and admin tools that work out of the box

Our mission

We believe in the technology behind AI, but not in who controls it.

What is Platte?

Platte is a sovereign AI workspace for organisations: chat, code and agents run in an instance of your own, hosted in Europe. People ask questions, work with files, create documents and group related chats into projects – each with its own instructions, context and memory.

Is Platte just a chat interface for companies?

No. The assistant works with more than text: it researches the web, runs code in a sandbox, analyses images and produces finished files such as Word documents and PDFs. Through integrations it uses your tools, and in the desktop app’s code mode it works directly in a folder on your own machine. Your own applications reach Platte through the OpenAI-compatible API.

Do employees need programming skills?

No. The browser is enough for everyday work: you describe what you need in your own words and the assistant decides which tool to use – every step is visible in the chat. Code mode, API keys and the OpenCode integration are additional routes for developers, not a requirement.

Which AI models are available?

Platte builds on open models such as Mistral, DeepSeek, Qwen and GLM and sources them from European providers that rely exclusively on infrastructure in Europe. The default is “Auto”: it routes you to the fastest model that is capable enough. Admins decide per model whether it can be used in chat or through the API. We add the newest and best open models soon after their release.

How are internal systems connected?

Through the Model Context Protocol, MCP for short. Admins enable integrations from the Platte catalogue – Slack, Notion, GitHub or Atlassian, for example – or add their own MCP servers for internal systems. Each person then connects with their own credentials, via OAuth or an API token; the assistant calls the system on their behalf.

Where do the platform and the data run?

Every organisation gets its own instance in a European data centre, with its own database and separate from every other customer. The models are hosted in Europe as well. Chats, files and memory stay in your instance, are not used to train models and can be exported in full as a backup.

How does Platte control security and usage?

Admins assign roles and seats, decide which models and integrations are available, and set a monthly extra-usage budget per person. The usage overview shows consumption by member, model and tool; the storage overview shows sizes and file counts only, never file contents. Sign-in works without a password, using a one-time code sent by email.

How does the rollout start?

Self-service: in the customer portal you set up your instance in a few minutes and try Platte free for seven days, with no payment details. Then you invite your team, one by one or by CSV, and the “Getting Started” checklist walks through the first tasks. For the rollout, the documentation lays out a plan for the first four weeks. We are happy to support you along the way and to accompany the rollout in your organisation.
